Mark Russell-Pavier
As a clinical practitioner and research scientist, I have worked with complex medical conditions to help people achieve their goals and improve quality of life. I have also worked with Elite and Olympic-level athletes, including those from the World Surfing League, Australian Cricket Team, and Australian Dolphins Swimming.
With over 15 years in Clinical Respiratory and Sleep Science, I specialise in advanced respiratory diagnostics and sleep physiology, supporting specialists and GPs in diagnosing complex cardiopulmonary conditions. My expertise spans cardiopulmonary exercise testing (including invasive & novel protocols), nitric oxide research, and the interaction between CPAP therapy and inflammatory biomarkers in sleep apnoea.
My professional interests extend to entheogenics and sleep, inflammatory markers in OSA, and sleep-disorders in athletes. I am an active member of ANZSRS, ANZSSA, ERS, ANSA, and ESSA, and hold accreditation with Cycling Australia.
